Three box openings in 90 days. A Chinese supplier quoted 11–12 weeks lead time — past two of the three launch dates. Regional German wholesalers could deliver fast but charged 65% more than direct-from-factory rates, killing the per-location margin model.
The Solution
We shipped three staged truckloads from Tekirdağ: one per location, spaced to match each opening. Standard commercial-grade plates, rubber-coated hex dumbbells 2.5–50 kg, and 20 kg Olympic bars. Partial pallets let them ramp inventory per box without over-stocking.
Results
All three boxes opened on schedule. The group estimated they saved ≈€38,000 compared to the German-wholesale alternative across the three openings, and avoided the inventory risk of a single 40-ft container. 14 months later they've reordered twice for replacement bumpers — the same commercial-grade product hit 30,000+ drop cycles without coating failure.
